Historical attractions of ancient and contemporary China include Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Taipin Heavenly Kingdom Palace, Dr Sun Yat-sen’s Mausoleum, Former President House, Yuhuatai Patriots Tomb, etc. They portrayed and highlighted some of the most significant historical incidents in China – from the last feudal dynasty ruled by the native Han people to the new Republic of China led by Dr Sun Yat-sen. |
In addition to historical attractions, Nanjing is also famous for its memorials, museums and cultural and scenic sights including Qinhuai River, Confucius Temple, Zijinshan Observatory, Xuanwu Lake and Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall.
